You encounter a group of 3 genies, and they each grant you one wish. One genie will grant your wish exactly as stated. One genie will ensure it’s cast exactly how you want. The final genie will twist it to ruin as much as possible. But you have no idea which genie is which.

Princess Couture: Saturn
(lol, it’s been forever since the last one of these! Check out my “Princess Couture” tag for other analyses, the only ones I haven’t done are Serenity, Uranus, and Mercury).
Like the other Outer Senshi’s gowns, Saturn’s dress is rather simple yet still has an air of elegance and refinement. It follows the trend of the Outer Senshi’s Princess dresses being plainer and less outwardly individualistic than the Inner’s, which mirrors the Outers’ dispositions and roles.
It’s pretty interesting to me that Saturn and Pluto’s gowns are so similar. Aside from the color, there are only minor design differences. I think this was intentional on Naoko Takeuchi’s part to highlight how similar Setsuna and Hotaru are, personality-wise, and the role they play in the story. Not to mention how they later form a close relationship.
Pluto and Saturn are both very powerful Senshi whose roles were hidden knowledge (Pluto as the guardian of time and Saturn as the bringer of destruction) and were forced to live on the outskirts of society. They are both initially pretty quiet and solemn. However, they both form a very close relationship with Chibiusa that drives the plot forward. Later on Setsuna and Hotaru form a family (with Haruka and Michiru) that allows them to live happier lives. It’s very fitting that these two outcasts turned beloved teammates have matching dresses!
As for the color, purple is a significant color that has had strong symbolism for centuries. It is the symbol of royalty and nobility as well as spirituality. The polar opposites red (hot) and blue (cool) combine to create this intriguing color and, as a result, purple shares attributes with both of them. In addition, purple is associated with dignity, independence, mystery, enlightenment, creativity, magic, ambition, and power.
I believe that Naoko was saving this unique color for Saturn, the last of the Senshi. Saturn is special, not only because she is the Forbidden Soldier, but also because she seems to serve two courts at different times (Usagi/Serenity in the present and Chibiusa/Small Lady in the future). Purple is the color of spirituality, and Hotaru is shown to be very in-touch with the otherworldly and non-physical. Finally, purple is associated with power and magic, and Saturn’s raw destructive might makes her one of the most powerful characters in the series.
All of these factors combine into one lovely gown that can’t be more perfect for Saturn!

You are an ancient fae being, and as such you know a great many things. What you don’t know however is how a mortal couple knows your true name, or why they proclaimed you the ‘Fairy Godmother’ of their infant child, but you are now contractually obligated to godmother the FUCK out of this kid.
She was like the moon, part of her was always hidden away.
